Call your parking space in a few simple steps. In this Trivial University lesson, we walk through the touchscreen kiosk method.

  1. Activate the kiosk. Touch the screen. It will guide you through the next step.
  2. Enter your assigned space number. Check that it is correct. The number 101 shown in the video is an example.
  3. Request your vehicle and wait. Follow the on-screen instructions. Stay outside the operating area while the system moves, and wait until the retrieval cycle is complete.
  4. Drive out. When your vehicle is ready and access is permitted, drive it out of the system.
  5. Close the gate. Once your vehicle has cleared the area, press Close Gate according to your property's posted instructions. Keep the gate path clear.

If the system does not respond or the gate will not close, stop and contact Trivial service. Never force a gate or platform.

Gate won't close? Start with two checks: vehicle position and a clear gate path.

Flashing red warning. On the system in Trivial's demonstration, a flashing red warning indicates an over-length sensor is blocked. Check that your vehicle is within the permitted parking area. Follow the posted instructions, and reposition only when the system is stopped and it is safe. If the vehicle does not fit, stop and contact your property manager. Never force the gate.

Gate-path obstruction. If there is no flashing red warning, check for an obstruction in the gate's path. The recorded display in this lesson shows “RIGHT GATE OBSTRUCTED.” Keep everyone outside the machine and check the opening from a safe position. Do not reach into the mechanism.

When the path is clear, follow the site's normal close-gate procedure. Keep clear and watch the gate. If it stops again, do not force it or keep retrying.

Contact service. Call (844) 437-3784. Share your property, space number, warning message, and whether a vehicle is trapped.

Controls and indicators vary. Always follow the instructions posted at your site.
